Synchronized success at CUSSL National Meet

Now that we’ve had time to hang up our swimsuits and pick the gel out of our hair, we’re pleased to announce that the University of Toronto synchro club had a fantastic showing at the Canadian University Synchro Swim League National Meet in Montreal, Québec. We want to first extend a sincere thank you to McGill Synchro who hosted and the staff at the Côte Saint-Luc Aquatic Centre who put up with over 200 synchro swimmers over 2 days.

Overall, we are proud to say that U of T placed 4th overall out of 19 participating universities. We had a small but mighty group this season and placed in each of our events. Here are the detailed results:

Easterns Success, Looking Forward to Nationals

Earlier this month our club travelled to Queen’s University (Kingston, Ontario) to compete at the Canadian University Synchro Swim League’s Eastern meet. Our swimmers had many personal best performances and podium finishes. We want to thank the Queen’s University Synchro Team for hosting such a well-organized meet and congratulate all of our competitors on their performances.

Success for U of T at McMaster Invitational

On November 26 the University of Toronto Synchro Club attended the first ever McMaster Invitational. It was a very successful meet, attended by a dozen clubs across Ontario and Quebec. We’re so grateful to Daniella (meet manager) and the team at McMaster for putting together such a well run meet. Thank you!

Our First Practice!


Announcing our first practice of the 2016-2017 CUSSL season!!

For all those interested – Our first practice will be this upcoming Sunday September 11th at 3pm in the 50m pool. This pool is located in the Athletic Centre at 55 Harbord Street. Prior to this practice we will have a short meeting where we will discuss the upcoming season (fees, routines, meets, etc.). For this meeting – please meet at 2:30pm in the lobby of the AC (benches next to the window that looks over the 50m pool).


2016-2017 Season Recruitment


Our team is currently looking for swimmers of all experience levels (novice AND advanced) to compete with us during the 2016-2017 season. This year we will be attending three competitive meets in November (McMaster University), early February (Queen’s University) and late February (McGill University). You must be registered in a full time degree program to participate in the Canadian University Synchro League. Currently we are accepting athletes from all three U of T campuses as well as from Ryerson and York Universities. Continue reading
